Explorers Science Camp - Marsh

The Marsh Explorers Science Camp is a half-day camp in the mornings. Located at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center, campers will investigate nature through experiments, outdoor adventures, individual projects and engaging, hands-on learning!  Campers should bring healthy snacks and water every day!

Ages: 7-9 years
Days/Times: Monday - Friday, 9 p.m. - 1 p.m. Extended care from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
Weekly Fees: $125 / $138.50 non-resident
Location: Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center, 569 South G Street

Marsh Explorers Science Camp Dates and Themes for 2025

Week 2 June 23 – 27: Invertebrate Investigations 
From crustaceans to microorganisms to insects and beyond, campers will learn all about invertebrates that inhabit the Marsh.

Week 4 July 7 – 11: Sunlight Scientists 
Campers will explore the wonders of the sun, learning how animals, plants, humans, and machines harness the power of the sun.

Camp Combo

Combine these mornings with an afternoon camp like Art Camp or Adventure Camp  for a full day of fun!Sorry, transportation is not provided to/from the the Marsh.Camp Combo Weekly Fee: $175 resident / $202 non-resident
