Young Creators Art Camp

Young aspiring artists focus on age-appropriate art projects, imaginative play and inspiring activities. Create new projects every day and explore a variety of art mediums. Send your camper with healthy snacks and water everyday. 

  • Ages: 4-6 years (Must be potty-trained)
  • Day/Time: Monday - Friday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
                     Extended Care to 5:30 p.m.
  • Weekly Fees: $125 / $138.50 non-resident
    Week 1 and 3: $100/$113.50

Young Creators Art Camp Dates and Themes for 2025

Week 1 -June 16-20: Upcycling (No camp Juneteenth, Thurs., June 19)
Bring new life to reused materials through a variety of projects

Week 3 -June 30-3: Once Upon a Storybook (No camp July 4)
We will explore paper and bookmaking as well as characters from our favorite tales

Week 5-July 14- 18: Sensational Art! Art that Awakens the Senses. Do
This week we will smell, touch, listen and look at a variety of art mediums and techniques. 

Week 7- July 28 - Aug 1: Art Inspired by Nature
Natural paint brushes, natural materials, there are so many ways to use nature to inspire our creations. 

Week 9- Aug. 11 -15: To Infinity and Beyond, All Things Outer Space
Through a variety of projects we will bring the cosmos to the classroom.

Camp Combo Option

Combine Young Creators Art Camp with Redwood Day Camp Mornings, Jr. Explorers Science Camp- Marsh or Skate Camp for a full day of fun! 
Sorry, transportation is not provided to/from the Arcata Skate Park or Marsh

Camp Combo Weekly Fees: $175 / $202 non-resident
