Art Camp

Campers discover their own creative styles using paints, 3-dimensional art and more while exploring visual and performing arts. Send your camper with healthy snacks and water everyday.

  • Ages: 7-12 years 
  • Days/Times: Monday - Friday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (Extended Care to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Weekly Fees: $125 / $138.50 non-resident
  • Location: Arcata Community Center, Teen Room 

Art Camp Dates and Themes for 2025

                  
Week 2: June 23 - 27 - Upcycling
Bring new life to reused materials through a variety of projects

Week 4: July 7-  11 - Painting
Watercolors, acrylics, tempra and more, this week we will introducing a variety of painting types and techniques. 

Week 6: July 21- 25 - Inspired by Nature
This weeks creations will be inspired by natural materials and landscapes.

Week 8: Aug 4-8 - DIY Design
You will be amazed at what your kids can create. This week they will explore and Create Do-It-Yourself trends.

Combine Mornings at Redwood or Skate Camp with 
 Art Camp in the afternoon for a full day of fun!
 Sorry, transportation is not provided from the Arcata Skate Park .
