Volunteer Work Days
Community members play a vital role in maintaining and improving Arcata's valuable open spaces. Join the Environmental Services Department and its many community partners for a Saturday volunteer work day to build an Arcata Community Forest trail, clean up a neighborhood park, or remove invasive species from creeks or the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to participate and beautify our corner of the planet!
Please visit Humboldt Trails Council for the most current volunteer work days information as information changes regularly due to the pandemic. If you're interested in Arcata specific Volunteer Trail Steward work days email Volunteer Trail Steward. These events are the 4th Saturday of every month, with the exception of December.
