Arcata Gateway Area Plan and Gateway Code

The City Council adopted the Gateway Area Plan on July 17, 2024. We are still working on the final edits Council directed at that meeting, but you can review previous drafts, including the July 17, 2024, draft using the links below.

The Council also introduced the Gateway Code (Ordinance 1569) on July 17. The Council is expected to adopt the Gateway Code at its September 4, 2024, meeting. The approved Gateway Code will be uploaded soon.
