NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR

SAFE PARKING PILOT PROGRAM OPERATOR

The City of Arcata is seeking proposals from service providers to develop and operate a Safe Parking pilot program that can provide a safe location for 24-hour parking for up to 30 households at a time who are currently sleeping in vehicles throughout the City of Arcata.  The City intends to enter an agreement with a qualified service provider that will work in coordination with the City to design and operate a 12-month pilot program. 

Proposals will be received at the City Manager’s Office, 736 F Street, Arcata, California until 11:00 a.m. PST on Thursday, January 13, 2022.  Proposals will be evaluated and ranked by a selection committee. The award for this contract is anticipated to be made at the Arcata City Council’s meeting on or after January 19, 2022.
