The City of Arcata is seeking public input on the Gateway Area Form-Based Code, which will establish regulations that guide future development—from how projects look to how they interact with each other and public spaces more broadly.
On February 23rd, the City of Arcata held the second of three workshops on the Form-Based Code. In this session, community members provided input on streetscape, parking, and open space regulations.
There will also be survey associated with each workshop of the Form-Based Code series for members of the public who could not attend and/or would like to provide feedback in this way. You can take the survey here . The survey will close 5 p.m. on March 2nd: https://forms.gle/9k2gWMqX4nTwrjzv6
Please spread the word on the workshops and encourage participation in the survey! Because the Code will shape our public realm into the future, Arcatans input is needed now in the process of creating it. We want to know what you think our community should look like—what works, what doesn’t, what will, and why.
Please contact the Community Development Department at comdev@cityofarcata.org or call (707) 822-5955 for questions or to give feedback on the survey.
