Unmet Transit Needs Public Comment Meeting Schedule 2018

Humboldt County Association of Governments (HCAOG) and its member entities, including the City of Arcata, are conducting several Public Hearings to better understand the unmet public transit needs for community members in Humboldt County. The City of Arcata will be holding Arcata’s Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 3 during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

Community members will have the opportunity to voice their concerns regarding unmet public transit needs, identify priorities and make suggestions on how to improve public transportation in Arcata and greater Humboldt County. All public comments will be shared with the HCAOG in order to help transit providers set priorities for making service improvements or modifications and assist jurisdictions in budgeting the use of Local Transportation Funds.

The regularly scheduled City Council meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 3 at 6 pm in City Council Chamber located at 736 F Street, and all interested community members are encouraged to attend. For those unable to attend the Public Hearing, public comments may be submitted to directly to the HCAOG bo later than Friday, November 30.
