  1. Equity Arcata Implicit Bias and the Four Dimensions of Racism Learning Session

    Equity Arcata will be hosting their next equity learning session on Saturday, May 4. Equity Arcata's Training and Learning working group co-chairs, Ron White and Meridith Oram and Dr. Cheryl Johnson, will be leading this interactive learning session titled Implicit Bias and the Four Dimensions of Racism. During this in-depth 8-hour training, concepts of implicit bias and the dimensions of racism which include internalized, interpersonal, institutional and systemic racism will be explored with discussions on how to actively work against racism. This training is free and open to all community stakeholders invested in racial equity. Coffee, tea, breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. This market also features the very best bands of Humboldt County, with performances each week from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Arcata Plaza Farmers' Market is open every Saturday rain or shine! Please leave your 4-legged friends at home because multiple State, County and Municipal regulations prohibit pets at Certified Farmers' Markets and food facilities.
