Sealed bids for the sale of surplus property will be received at the City Manager’s Office, Arcata City Hall, 736 F Street, Arcata, California, until 11:00 a.m., August 16, 2017. All bid documents may be picked up at the City Manager’s Office, City of Arcata, 736 F Street or for download below.

All items are sold as-is, where is, and the City may reject any and all bids. Items may be viewed August 3, 2017 thru August 15, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Special Requirements:
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of Arcata, Surplus Property Auction, 736 F Street, Arcata, CA 95521. Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY. All bids must be received by 11:00 a.m., August 16, 2017.

Bids received after the specified opening time will not be considered. The bidder is solely responsible for timely delivery of their bid.

All bids must be made on the required bid form. All items you wish to bid on must have the blank spaces filled in, in ink or typewritten, and the bid form must be fully completed and executed when submitted. Only one copy of the bid form is required.

All items awarded must be paid for by cash, cashiers check, or money order at the Finance Office, City of Arcata, 736 F Street, Arcata, CA 95521, within three business days of notification of award by the City of Arcata. All items awarded must be paid for at one time. There will be no splitting of payments. Bidders MUST CONTACT the City of Arcata within two business days of the close of the auction, for verification of bid award for their items.

Items may be viewed at the corporation yard at 600 South G Street between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m., August 3, 2017 thru August 15, 2017 and 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on August 16, 2017.

All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Vehicles are sold for parts only, and the City will NOT offer smog certification for the vehicles.

All items are to be removed by August 24 28, 2017. Items may be picked up only during the City of Arcata’s normal business hours.
