Look for the Water Fun Fact poster at each participating Arcata business to learn more about rainwater harvesting, water conservation, irrigation, sea level rise, drinking water, what goes down your drains and many other topics.
To earn a stamp, just read the poster, go to the cashier and answer a water fun fact question!
Additional stamps can also be earned by visiting the Water Week Arts! Arcata Table on Friday, May 10 and at the Farmers' Market table on Saturday, May 11, and by downloading the free
Geocaching App on your smartphone.
You can find the passport locations on the Geocaching App by using codes listed on the quest passport and the interactive map within the app, or you can find them listed below:
- Dog Walking Cache: GC3RAJV
- Janes Creek Meadows: GC7T95G
- American Bittern: GC69HFV
- Stack the Deck: GC710NH
Passports can be turned in at the Arts! Arcata Water Week table or at the Farmers' Market Water Week table, or at the Environmental Services Department at Arcata City Hall. In addition,
those participating in the Geocache passport quest can bring one numbered magnet back from each cache to the designated Water Week tables at Arts! Arcata and at the Farmers' Market.
Awesome prizes will be awarded based on the number of stamps gathered!
