Amendment to Mobilehome Park Regulations Pertaining to Space Rent Stabilization

An ordinance amending Arcata mobilehome park regulations pertaining to space rent stabilization was heard at the City Council Meeting on Wednesday December 19, 2018. The Staff Report and Draft Ordinance are available below:

The Council was asked to consider public comment and the staff report recommendation, and provide staff direction. While Council may introduce the ordinance, staff was only seeking direction for the amendments at this meeting.

Notice of Allowable Increase

A Notice of Allowable Rent Increase was issued on February 15, 2018, which went into effect on May 1, 2018.

Park Owner Registration Forms

Owners should have submitted forms to the City by February 1, 2018.

Ordinance Update as of November 2, 2017

Ordinance No. 1487 was adopted at the November 1, 2017 City Council Meeting.  The ordinance took effect 30 days from the date of passage.
