   Brett Watson is Mayor of Arcata. He was appointed by the Arcata City Council to fill a Council vacancy in April of 2017, and was elected to the Council in 2019.

   Susan Ornelas has served on the Arcata City Council since 2008.

4. Sofia Pereira

   Sofia Pereira was elected to the Arcata City Council in 2014. She served as Mayor in 2018, and was re-elected to the Council in 2019.

   Paul Pitino served on the Arcata City Council between 2004 and 2008, and was re-elected to the Council in 2014.
