2012 ARCATA DRINKING WATER QUALITY REPORTS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

Drinking water in the City of Arcata and the Jacoby Creek Water District meets all federal and state health standards, according to 2012 consumer confidence water monitoring reports.

The City of Arcata is responsible for providing safe, reliable, high quality drinking water to City of Arcata public water system and Jacoby Creek Water District customers. The consumer confidence report is an annual water quality report that the City is required to provide to the public in accordance with Safe Drinking Water Act requirements. The purpose of the consumer confidence report is to raise customers’ awareness of the quality of their drinking water, where their drinking water comes from, and the importance of protecting drinking water sources.

Jacoby Creek Water District customers can view their 2012 consumer confidence report at http://drinc.ca.gov/EAR/CCR/CCR2012CA1210021.pdf.
