Marsh Explorers Science Camp
Registration Begins April 6th
Marsh Explorers will investigate the natural world. Each week long camp program is packed with fun experiments, individual projects and engaging science learning. Explore, discover and enjoy the "wow" of science in your own backyard. Campers need to bring a mid-afternoon snack.
Location: Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center
Ages: 7 - 9 years
Days/Times: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Weekly Camp Fees: $95.00 Residents /Add $10 non-resident fee per registration.

Marsh Explorers Camp Dates and themes Summer 2015:
June 15 - 19: Natural Cycles and Seasonal Changes: Campers will explore and gain an understanding of tides, seasonal changes, weather patterns, bird migrations, and the water and plany cycles.
June 29 - July 2: Discovering Diversity: Understanding Marshland Habitats: DIscover the different environments found within the Marsh and learn how each habitat is vital to supporting life,
July 13 - 17: Native Ways of Life: Explore the cultural history of the Wiyot Tribe and investigate native plant communities
Aug. 10-14: Resilient Communities: Learn about all the different wildlife at the Marsh and how these species have adapted to thrive in diverse environments
Day Camp Combo:
Add Marsh Explorers Science Camp to Redwood Day Camp half day mornings for a full day of fun. Sorry, transportation is not provided from Redwood Day Camp to the marsh.
Fees: $130 Residents /$150 non-residents
Pay for your first week in full and reserve additional weeks with just a $25 non-refundable deposit per week.The remaining balance must be received by the Monday prior to the registered week.
