Marsh Explorers Science Camp

Registration Begins April 14th

Marsh Explorers will investigate the natural world. Each week long camp program is packed with fun experiments, individual projects and engaging science learning. Explore, discover and enjoy the "wow" of science in your own backyard. Campers need to bring a mid-afternoon snack.

Location: Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center
Ages: 7 - 9 years
Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Weekly Camp Fees:
$95.00 Residents /Add $10 non-resident fee per registration.

Wetlands and the Web of Life: Investigate and explore how life in the marsh is connected and how we can assist in protecting the natural world.

Cycles Essential to Life: Understand tides, bird migration, energy, nutrient, and water cycles at the marsh and around the world.

Life at the Marsh: Explore the abundance of life at the marsh and find out how life is made possible by air, water, and the sun.

Habitats, Ecosystems, and Biomes: Explore the homes and communities of life at the marsh and how they connect with the natural world.

Day Camp Combo:

Add Marsh Explorers Science Camp to Redwood Day Camp half day mornings for a full day of fun. Sorry, transportation is not provided from Redwood Day Camp to the marsh.

Fees: $130 Residents /$150 non-residents

Pay for your first week in full and reserve additional weeks with just a $25 non-refundable deposit per week.The remaining balance must be received by the Monday prior to the registered week.
