Leader-In-Training

When you become a Leader-In-Training at one of our eleven different summer camps including Redwood Day Camp, Art Camp, Young Creators, Pee Wee Sports, Young Explorers Science Camp, Marsh Explorers Science Camp, Natural Resources Science Camp, Adventure Camp, Dance Camp, Theater Camp and Skate Camp. You'll have the opportunity to gain real life work experience, and leadership skills all while having fun in the sun. LIT experience can also count towards community service and looks great on a college application. LIT's work with youth ages 4-14 helping plan and lead summer camp activities, field trips and more.  All participants will go through an interview and LIT training program learning valuable job skills. Just choose the camps and dates you'd like to work and soon you'll be on your way to a summer of fun.

Space is limited so please consider a first and second choice for camps you'd like to work at.

Fees: $10 per week /Add $1 non-resident fee per registration OR $50/$55 non-residents for the entire summer
(fees include LIT training and t-shirt)
Ages: Must be 13 years old by June 16, 2014

Mandatory Trainings:

All participants new to the program must take part in a 20 min. informational interview, Tues, May 21 or Thurs, May 22 between 3:00 - 6:00pm. Interviews will be scheduled at the time of registration.
Training dates for all LIT's are Sat. May 31st 9:00 - 3:00 and Sun. June 8th 9am-2pm at the Redwood Lodge.
