if your property has not yet been designated a Landmark by the City, but you are interested in learning more about the Designated Landmark process and how it can result in property tax savings through the Mills Act, you are welcome to contact the Community Development Department about eligibility.

The Mills Act program is intended to be a long term property tax savings tool, not a grant or loan program.  It is available for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties.  You should consult your financial planner to determine if this program is right for you.

Please review the recently adopted Mills Act Program Guidelines, together with an Estimated Tax Savings Worksheet and a sample contract.
